The Punjab Finance Department has released more than Rs. 2.45 billion as non-salary budget for government schools across Punjab for the fourth quarter of the current fiscal year.
According to officials, the funds will be used to improve school facilities and manage important operational expenses apart from salaries.
Where Will the Funds Be Used?
The released budget will cover:

District-Wise Fund Distribution
Under the released budget:

- π Faisalabad received Rs. 120 million
- π Multan received more than Rs. 81 million
- π Rawalpindi received around Rs. 90 million
Funds have also been issued to Gujranwala, Gujrat, Bahawalpur, Kasur, Jhang, Bhakkar, Hafizabad, Chiniot, and several other districts.
